ACCRA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION'S SCRIPTURE UNION(S.U) HANDING-OVER CEREMONY - 2021

Scripture Union (SU) is an international, inter-denominational, evangelical Christian organization. It was founded in 1867 and works in partnership with individuals and churches across the world. The organization's stated aim is to use the Bible to inspire children, young people and adults to know God.

Scripture Union is an autonomous organisation in each country, linked together by Scripture Union International. It is primarily a volunteer organisation with a small number of full-time staff training, encouraging and coordinating ministry workers around the world. Scripture Union is also a member of the Forum of Bible Agencies International.

The Official Inauguration of New Executive Members

On Sunday, 27th of June 2021, Accra College of Education held her 2021 S.U. handing-over ceremony in her auditorium with the student body. 

The programme was in the manner of church order chaired by the National S.U. President and his cabinet members.

The Office Portfolios were transited from the current level 300 to the qualified level 100 and 200 students. 

The Old Executive Members

The church service was in the usual manner with worship, praises, preaching, offertory and benediction.

After the word of God has been preached, the old executive members were called forward for prayers and appraisal for their perpetual undiluted service in the S.U community.

 New Executive Members

Thereafter, the newly nominated executives were called forward as well. The privilege was given to the outgoing executives to cast prayers over their successors, so they did.

 New Executive Members

Afterwards, the outgoing executives handed over their tallits to the newly appointed executive members.

Moreover, prayers from the whole congregation were offered for the new executives in quest of grace and anointing for the effectual work of God.

The Executive speech was then delivered by the newly inaugurated President by the name Afum Francis Boahen.
