| Dr. Dickson Tse - The College Principal |
Dr. Dickson Tse, Principal of E. P College Of Education, Amedzofe, located in the Ho West District of the Volta region, has threatened to fire two of the College's trainees.
According to sources, the two trainees who signed a press release dated October 24th, 2022, were just requesting the University of Ghana, through the administration of the College, to correct faults on Level 100s, 200s, and 300s results. The mistakes were alleged to have occurred over a three-year period, but the College's administration seemed to be doing nothing to assist the trainees.
Collegedeskgh.info has learned that Dr. Dickson Tse convened a hastily called Emergency Meeting at which the two signatories to the press release, Mr. Gapotor Mawuko and Foster Lawrence Mensah, as well as the SRC President, Mr. Joachim Worlase, were threatened with a meeting with the Disciplinary Committee.
The Principal also threatened to contact the Ghana Police Service in order to arrest the two trainees for going to a Ho-based radio station about the same subject.
Dr. Dickson Tse's recent credo and mode of operation have been to intimidate trainees for just exercising their constitutional rights.
He was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons after instructing College learners who owed more than GHC100 not to attend the dining hall.
Until the government intervenes, E. P College Of Education, Amedzofe would become a pale shade of its former self under the current dictatorial administration, while trainees are also preparing to fight for their rights. They are threatening to boycott lectures in the next few days until the results are resolved.
