In the early hours of Monday morning, November 7th 2022, a University of Ghana Legon student was discovered hanging on a ceiling fan in his room at Collins Dauda road, adjacent to Dauda Mosque, community 18 Lashibi, Tema.
His brother discovered him with a rope tied around his neck on a ceiling fan.
In an interview with Samuel Osei and Theophilus Asempa of Ahotor Fm News, a resident expressed surprise at the deceased's sudden absence.
Several checks by the family to find out where the deceased was for a week resulted in the unexpected shock when his door was broken into.
His 2022 Toyota Camry car was parked on the compound with the air conditioner still turned on.
The deceased was described as a very calm person, so his sudden death came as a surprise to those who knew him.
The family is distraught over what could have caused the innocent young man to end his life at such a young age.
The body of the deceased was taken away by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Baatsoona Police and is believed to have been deposited at a morgue.
