KFM Cleared to Run for TTAG-EGA Sector Presidency After Successful Vetting Process

Accra College of Education's Student Representative Council (SRC) President, Edward Kyei Gyamerah, also known as KFM, was recently vetted and cleared to run for the 2022/2023 TTAG-EGA Annual Delegates Congress Elections for the position of the Sector President.

This comes after initial reports of KFM's disqualification from running for the position due to his alleged interest in the National TTAG Presidency before seeking the Sector Presidency.

However, the disqualification was disputed as KFM had reportedly met all the requirements set forth by the Electoral Commission (EC) for the election of the 2022/2023 TTAG Leadership. The Vetting Committee was called upon to re-evaluate the decision and consider all the facts, which ultimately led to KFM being cleared as a qualified candidate.

KFM, who serves as the current SRC President at Accra College of Education, is now officially eligible to run for the Sector Presidency in the upcoming elections. The outcome of the emergency meeting called in response to KFM's disqualification has not been made public, but the situation remains ongoing.

With KFM cleared to run, the election promises to be an exciting and closely watched race as delegates look to choose their next TTAG-EGA Sector President.
