Accra College of Education is abuzz with excitement as the Student Representative Council (SRC) elections draw near. Two promising teacher-trainees, Sarkodie Stephen and Mohammed Jatoe, have thrown their hats into the ring, vying for the coveted position of Public Relations Manager (PRM). FIRST CANDIDATE
Sarkodie Stephen, also known as Sarkodie Stephen in the educational environment, was born in Juaso in the Ashanti region but has spent most of his life in Accra. He embarked on his educational journey at Fritz Ramseyer Presbyterian school and later attended St. Margaret Mary Senior High Technical School. In 2020, Sarkodie successfully completed his secondary education and secured admission into AcCE, where he is currently pursuing his studies in JHS education, specializing in geography and social studies. Hailing from the esteemed Gberbie hall, Sarkodie is an active member of the college's art society, UNESCO club, and morale group.
Sarkodie Stephen prides himself on his exceptional communication skills and his ability to collaborate effectively with others. He aims to leverage these qualities to serve as the next PRM, further enhancing the already improved communication within the college. His enthusiasm for the role stems from his passion for maintaining strong lines of communication and facilitating engagement between the student body and the administration.

SECOND CANDIDATE
On the other hand, Mohammed Jatoe, known as Mohammed Raffic or MR among his peers, brings a diverse range of skills to the table. Alongside being a dedicated member of Gberbie hall, Mohammed is a talented blogger, graphic designer, content creator, and website designer. Through self-learning, interactions with colleagues, and attending private institutions, he has honed his expertise in these areas. Currently serving as the junior communicator for the media department of the CACI-OSU district, Mohammed Jatoe's contributions have already made a positive impact.
Mohammed Jatoe draws inspiration from his acquired skills, which include effective communication, graphic design, content creation, and website design. His decision to run for the PRM position stems from his desire to utilize these talents and serve the student body. As a result, he envisions fostering a vibrant online presence for Accra College of Education, ensuring effective dissemination of information and engaging the student community through innovative digital platforms.
