Tragic Loss of Accra College of Education Student Richard Teye Nubuor Leaves Campus in Mourning.

Accra, December 9, 2023.

In a somber turn of events, the Accra College of Education community is grappling with the untimely demise of one of its own, Richard Teye Nubuor. A level 400 Primary programme teacher-trainee, Richard passed away on November 4, 2023, at the Pentecost Hospital in Madina, Accra.

The incident unfolded during the 2023 Accra College of Education SRC handing over ceremony on the 3rd November, where Richard collapsed, prompting immediate medical attention. Despite efforts to save him, Richard, a football goalkeeper for the college and an ardent singer, succumbed to an unknown ailment between 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm on the 4th November, 2023.

Richard's best friend, Appiah Prince, revealed that Richard had returned to school after a two-week absence due to personal matters. Upon his return, he complained of stomach pain, prompting a purchase of medication, which he shared with his friend. The mysterious nature of his illness left both friends in shock, as medical tests conducted failed to pinpoint a specific cause.

Christian Dogbe, another colleague, recounted Richard's struggle with stomach pain beginning on November 1, 2023. Despite initial relief from medication, Richard's condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to his unfortunate passing. The college rallied behind Richard's family, with contributions from trainees, lecturers, and even the local Member of Parliament, Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan.

😳😳😳😳😳😳

On that sorrowful Saturday, November 4, 2023, between 1:30pm and 2:00pm, our noble fellow left us. 😩

Weekends, the college students are served lunch at 1:30pm. Hmmm, when the whole college was EATING, he was DYING.

At the hospital, his sister went into the ward, came back and shouted, _"eei!!! Richard gbo"_ and that was the end of the story.

We may ask several questions, but all will be considered rhetorical until we meet the giver and taker of life.

 Take heart, fellows

As the Accra College of Education mourns the loss of Richard Teye Nubuor, questions linger about the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death.

The departed student was laid to rest on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in Ningo Prampram, marking the end of a chapter in the college's history and leaving behind a void that will be felt for years to come.
