The Indian tiger centipede is a species of centipede that is from the Scolopendridae’s family. Their bite can be very painful depending on the size, but their venom cannot kill a human.
They are commonly known as tiger centipede due to the possession of dark bands on its tergites and can reach a length of about 16cm (6.3 in), with antennas which consist of 17 or 18 segments and the first are shiny.
Centipedes inject venom into their prey to protect and also defend themselves, especially when they feel threatened by humans.

Bite for a tiger centipede is not dangerous, but the amount of pain that comes with the bite increases due to the size of the centipede.
