Anxiety is an unpleasant state of mental uneasiness. A state of worry, trouble, restlessness and distress. With the present evolution of the world, believers sometimes do find themselves in such states. Some do worry about how insufficient their income will capacitate their well-being. Some are in constant anxiety as a result of the thought of not having enough for tomorrow. There are several factors that result in anxiety. As long as believers are still in the flesh(physical body) and are still in the world, there is a tendency that situations that produce anxiety might hit them.
Anxiety can as well mean, less trust in God's ability to act. When Christ addressed the issue of anxiety, His relation was based on lack of trust in God's ability in meeting the needs of his Children. Inasmuch as the world is complaining and so worrisome about the gradual changes that are taking place, believers ought not to do likewise. Why? We are children of God. And as Children of God, this is our command, Matthew 6:25 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear... The things some believers worry about is what unbelievers run after. God knows you need them and He is faithful in meeting those needs. Matthew 6:32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
There is no way a good father doesn't go the extra mile to make avail of the needs of his children. If an earthly father can do such, how much more God? All you ought to do as a believer is to trust in the promises of God. Do away with anxiety by casting it on Jesus for He cares for you. 1 Peters 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. God is faithful in taking care of you. Worry not about anything, Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God trust God, for He will always meet your needs and will forever keep to His promises. God bless you. Jesus be glorified!!!
