School placement website will be live at 6 pm – MoE spokesperson

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Ministry of Education, Kwasi Kwarteng says the school placement website exactly at 6 pm Saturday, March 26, 2022, will be opened for students to check their second cycle school posting.

His comment comes after the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Friday told students the school placements have been released but the computerized placement portal will be live from Saturday, March 26, 2022.

“2021 schools placement (CSSPS) goes live this evening @ 6 pm,” the spokesman announced in a post sighted by EducationWeb. The school placement website as of the time writing this post is still under maintenance mode.

About 555,353 students out of the 571,892 candidates who sat for the 2021 BECE administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) qualified to get school placement and benefit from the Free SHS policy.

The Ministry of Education Friday in a statement said a total of 367,811 students have automatically been placed in one of their preferred choices. About 187,542 the press release indicated will be doing self-placement from Saturday.
