A Teacher-trainee, Emmanuel Appiahene of AcCE Laid to Rest Today - Full account

MOVING TO CEMETERY 

A Teacher-Trainee of Accra College of Education who lost his life due to kidney infection was laid today. 

The funeral and the burial service took place in Atwima Nerebehi in Ashanti Region.

More than 50 Teacher-trainees from Accra college including the college Jama crew paid their last respect to Emmanuel Appiahene as they went for the service.

It took the students about 5 hours journey from Accra to the bereaved's hometown. 

The death of Emmanuel was the sadest experience for the family and the Accra Teacher Trainee College at large. 

TRIBUTE BY THE FAMILY 

According to the tribute by the family, Emmanuel was the meek and the understanding type. He took issues smoothly and admitted advices from the parents all the time. He was simple and meek in nature. 

In addition, according to the tribute by the College delivered by the former SRC President and the former academic commissioner, there is correlation to that of the family. They confirmed that, Emmanuel was an industrious but meek and a colleague with simple lifestyle.

After the tributes and the word of God, the deeper life campus ministry, AcCE chapter donated an amount of Gh¢400.00 in an envelope to the mother of the bereaved. Emmanuel Appiahene was a member of deeper life church on campus.

Never the less, the SRC of Accra College of Education also donated an amount of Gh¢700 to the family. This was presented by the Deputy General Secretary and the Financial Secretary.

Some old friends of Emmanuel also donated wreaths for the burial of the corpse.

After all that, the corpse was taken to the community cemetery for burial. 

The burial rights were rightly performed by the Pastor in the cemetery and then our brother and colleague Emmanuel Appiahene was finally buried. And he is gone out of this world forever.
