 PENPOINT EDUCATION CONSULT – NTC CERTIFIED SERVICE PROVIDER 

PRIVATE APTITUDE TEST – BASIC 2 & 4

PENPOINT CONSULT- an accredited NTC service provider is conducting a Private 

Aptitude Test for Basic 2 and 4 pupils as a way to test performance of Literacy and 

Numeracy in our schools and help schools to prepare Literacy and Numeracy Policies in 

their schools. All interested schools are to register latest Monday 10th October, 2022.

Aptitude Test package includes,

 Test will be conducted in the school premises.

 Facilitators also take the test to probe the marking scheme. Scripts are marked by 

facilitators.

 Scripts will be vetted by PENPOINT. Report generated by PENPOINT.

 Facilitators’ engagement with PENPOINT to discuss observations.

 PENPOINT engagement with school authorities on the way forward for a good 

achievement during the NATIONAL TEST.

 The assessment of the basic 2 and 4 learners involve the teachers of the school, this is 

because we want Transparency and Inclusiveness so as to curb blame games

 The basic 2 and basic 4 teachers will not be part of the invigilation.

 The basic 2 and basic 4 teachers will be given marking scheme to mark their 

respective subjects, this is for the teachers to identify the areas of strength and 

weakness of their own learners

 The entire exercise last not more than four hours

 All marked scripts would be submitted to a central point where officers from 

PENPOINT EDUCATION CONSULT will vet all the marked scripts.

 A confidential performance report and progress report will be prepared for each 

school in a soft copy PDF format.
