The TESCON-AcCE General Election, 2022 was allegedly rigged. Aryeh Patrick Tettey filed a petition with the EC - AcCE TESCON Elections '22

Accra College of Education's TESCON election, which was held on November 11, 2022, is the subject of complaints.

 Eyewitnesses and reports that have reached the College Desk GH media team suggest that the EC was compromised when the Presidential ballots were counted in Owusu Nyamekye Emmanuel's favor.

On this point, Aryey Patrick, one of the presidential candidates, submitted a petition to the EC. The petition letter that includes the reasoning for this assertion is excerpted below.👇👇

DATE: 12TH NOVEMBER, 2022.

ARYEH, PATRICK TETTEY

ACCRA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

P. O. BOX LG 221

LEGON

SUBJECT: PETITION ON THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION BALLOTS COUNTED

I humbly write to draw the attention of all stakeholders that the provisional results announced by the Electoral Commission on the elections ground dated, 11th November 2022 at Accra College of Education for the Presidential portfolio should be recounted due to the reasons below;

  1. Most of the ballot cast, even already counted ballots were found and removed from the first candidate's (Owusu Nyamekye Emmanuel) ballots while counting.
  2. Some of the ballot cast (about large number of them) for the third candidate (Aryeh Patrick Tettey) were holding one of the officials purported to be part of the sorting and counting team and have to be taken from her and placed back to the candidates ballot cast.
  3. The total number of vote cast for the presidential portfolio did not tally with the results announced during counting.
  4. Why an electoral commissioner has to jubilate for a candidate within the perimeter of sorting and counting after the counting of a candidates ballot cast while holding the same candidate's ballots.

Due to these reasons, I Aryeh Patrick Tettey, a solid TESCON member, a voter within the Ayawaso West constituency, the CEO of KQD Enterprise and the Proprietor of Model Power Academy, certify that, pursuant to Article 9(1)(h) of the TESCON regulations solemnly seek for a recount of the ballot cast and the provision of clear information from the Electoral Commission according to the Right to Public Information (RPI) ACT published in 2019 in the 1992 constitution Article 21(1)(f) which states that " All persons shall have the right to information subject to such qualifications and laws as are necessary for a democratic society".
