Teacher-trainees from Accra college of education |
The University of Ghana sent a communication to Enchi College of Education today, December 5, 2022. It details the confirmed and postponed end-of-semester examination date for all level 200s in UG-affiliated colleges. For your convenience, an excerpt from the communiqué is provided below.
RE-SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATIONS FOR LEVEL 200 STUDENTS OF COLLEGES OF EDUCATION AFFILIATED TO UNIVERSITY OF GHANA
This is a sequel to our meeting held on Sunday, December 4, 2022, to discuss a petition by the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana and the resultant letters issued by the School Representative Councils of the six colleges to level 200 and 300 students not to make themselves available for the semester examinations.
After lengthy deliberation, the meeting unanimously decided that the level 200 examination timetable should proceed as planned but the start date be changed from Monday, December 5, 2022, to Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Subsequently, the College requested for administrative approval from the Vice-Chancellor to enable the level 200 examinations to begin on December 8, 2022. I am happy to inform you that the Vice-Chancellor has granted approval for the postponement of the start date of the examinations for the Level 200 students from Monday, December 5, 2022, to Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Against this backdrop, you are kindly requested to proceed with the examinations for Level 200 students in your college from the approved date. With respect to the examination timetable for the Level 300 students, it would be firmed up shortly.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully.
