PRINCOF President Vows to Pay Teacher Trainees' Allowance Arrears at EGA TTAG Annual Congress Launch

The Eastern And Greater Accra Sector (EGA) Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) held its 27th Annual Delegates Congress launch today at the Accra College of Education, with a promise from the PRINCOF President , Professor Samuel Atintono who is also the Principal of Accra college of education , to settle the three months allowance arrears owed to teacher trainees by the end of February 2023.


The launch of the congress was attended by teacher trainee delegates from the nine colleges in the sector and education stakeholders, who were all eager to hear the principal's plans for addressing the challenges faced by teacher trainees in the sector.



In his address, Professor Atintono emphasized the importance of investing in teacher training and pledged to ensure that the teacher trainees receive their full allowance to support their education and well-being. He stated that the payment of the arrears was a priority and assured the audience that the funds would be made available by the end of the month.


The announcement was met with applause and appreciation from the teacher trainees, who have been advocating for their rights and welfare. 


In conclusion, the launch of the EGA TTAG Annual Congress marked a significant step towards improving the education sector in Ghana. The principal's promise to settle the allowance arrears has brought hope to teacher trainees, who are now looking forward to receiving the funds and being able to focus on their education.
