In a momentous ceremony at the University of Ghana (UG) , Professor Samuel Awinkene Atintono, the esteemed President of PRINCOF and the Principal of Accra College of Education, was honoured with a distinguished award.



 He was named a Fellow of the renowned West African Linguistics Society during their ongoing conference at the Cedi Conference Center, UG today, October 24, 2023.

 This recognition celebrates his exceptional contributions to the field of linguistics and Indigenous languages particularly, Ghanaian and West African languages.



Professor Atintono's dedication to linguistics and his significant impact on preserving and promoting indigenous languages is truly commendable. 

This award acknowledges his unwavering commitment to the cultural and linguistic heritage of West Africa. Kudos to Professor Atintono for this well-deserved recognition!
