The Union of Francis Elikem Kosi Mawusi & Linda Makafui Asaley

Last weekend marked a significant and graceful milestone in the life of Francis Elikem Kosi Mawusi as he entered into holy matrimony with Linda Makafui Asaley, a dedicated nursing professional.

The ceremony was not merely a celebration of love, but a union of purpose — bringing together two individuals committed to service, healthcare, and community impact.

A Groom Defined by Leadership & Excellence

Francis Elikem’s journey has long been associated with discipline and achievement. From serving as SRC President of NMTC Korle-Bu (2019–2020) to graduating with First Class Honours in BSc Nursing from Pentecost University, his life reflects consistency in academic excellence and student leadership.

Beyond nursing, he built a strong literary presence as an author and inspirational writer, influencing many young scholars across Ghana through poetry and motivational works.

A Bride Rooted in Service

Standing beside him is Linda Makafui Asaley, a professional nurse whose career reflects compassion, resilience, and dedication to patient care. Her commitment to healthcare mirrors the groom’s own professional path, making their union one grounded not only in affection but in shared vocation and values.

Together, they represent a partnership built on empathy, discipline, and service — qualities essential both in healthcare and in marriage.

The Ceremony: Elegant, Faith-Centred, Purposeful

The wedding ceremony was characterised by elegance and dignity. Family, friends, colleagues, and members of the academic and healthcare communities gathered to witness a covenant that signifies growth into a new life chapter.

It was a moment of reflection and transition — from individual accomplishments to shared legacy. The atmosphere captured warmth, unity, and the promise of a future anchored in shared vision.

Beyond Titles: A New Chapter of Responsibility

For many who have followed Francis Elikem’s journey from campus leadership to academic distinction, this milestone reinforces a powerful message: success is holistic.

It extends beyond:

  • Leadership positions
  • Academic achievements
  • Published works

It includes personal responsibility, partnership, and the building of a family foundation.
