A New Era of Democracy: Accra College of Education Transitions to Online SRC Elections

Dear students of Accra College of Education,

The AcCE SRC Electoral Commission is delighted to announce that the 2023 Student Representative Council (SRC) Elections will be taking place on 5th June. This year's election is particularly special as it will be conducted online for the very first time in the history of our college. We believe that this modern approach will enhance accessibility and convenience for all students, allowing you to participate in the democratic process with ease.

To ensure a smooth and successful online voting experience, we have prepared a step-by-step guide for you to follow:

👉Click the link provided on your general WhatsApp platforms. This link will redirect you to the online voting portal. (eg. https://acce********)

👉Use the code sent to you via SMS as your voter's ID (e.g., yhs********), and your Index number (School ID) as the password. Please make sure to enter these details accurately to validate your identity.

👉Click the "SIGN-IN" button to gain access to the voting portal. This will be your gateway to selecting your preferred candidates.

👉Take your time to review the list of candidates and choose your favorites. You can show your support by checking/selecting the corresponding boxes next to their images.

👉Once you have made your selections, click the "SUBMIT" button to submit your ballot. This action will finalize your vote.

Throughout the election process, you will have the opportunity to monitor the results as they are published periodically on your platforms. Additionally, for those who prefer a more interactive experience, the election results will be projected live in the Auditorium.

We understand that technical difficulties may arise during the online voting process. To address any issues promptly and efficiently, a dedicated committee of technical support experts, led by Prosper Wise, will be available to assist you. They will be responsible for resolving any problems encountered along the way, ensuring that your voting experience remains seamless and fair.
